So last night after work, I headed over to my sister's house to babysit the kids while she and her husband went to an OFFICE premiere party! The kids and I had a great dinner of rotisserie chicken and steamed broccoli topped with shredded cheddar. But, the best part of the meal was dessert! She has made this toffee bark stuff to take with them to the party, but left us a plate to munch on. This recipe is very simple, and addicting, so I thought I would share!
- Saltine crackers
- 3/4 c butter
- 3/4 c. sugar (brown or regular) *she used white, but others have made it with brown sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- chopped nuts (any type will work!)
