5 Ingredient Dinner Equation
Here is the equation for the 5 Ingredient Dinner I made last night that is Quick, Easy, Healthy & Delicious.
- Thai Style Pasta/Rice Sticks - boil according to package directions, drain, then add to Veggie/Shrimp mixture at the end.
- Frozen Stir-Fry Veggies - Saute according to package directions.
- Frozen, Shelled, Deveined, Shrimp. Saute w/ veggies, but add at the last minute - cook until they turn pink.
- Satay Peanut Sauce. Add 3-4 spoonfuls to hot veggie/shrimp mixture. Stir to coat.
- Sriracha Hot Chile Sauce. Add 1 squirt to Veggie/Shrimp/Satay mixture for a little kick. The more you add, the spicier it will be. Be forewarned - this stuff is HOT!
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = Shrimp/Veggie Pad Thai-esque Dinner (or 15 for you math folks)
It would be even better with crushed, roasted peanuts on top, but I was all out. Even so, it can be described in one word - YUM.
Enjoy!

Looks fabulous! I have been wanting to try to make my own peanut type sauces! I didn't know TJs had a good one. I will have to ask my MIL to look for this for me ;)
Way to use TJ's! I have a package of those rice sticks in my pantry. I need to come up with a recipe to use them. Great idea!
I make similar combos too - except using tofu or fake meat strips! So tasty and delicious.

ugg I am having major dinner envy right now!
Amazing dinner, hope i can prepare a dinner food just like that.
I am still thinking of preparing my own cooking utensils before i'll be able to actually start cooking. After all, one does not just cook without the proper tools.
