Soup and Sandwich Dinner (11.12.2008)

Dinner tonight was so completely satisfying. My grandmom made her Potato soup and gave me some when I stopped by there tonight. I have so many carrots so I steamed some up and added to the soup for more veggies. I also made a grilled turkey and swiss sandwich on whole wheat potato bread - my favorite bread of all time. These little triangle pieces were perfect for dipping. This was such a warming meal.

Grandmom also supplied some HOMEMADE chocolate truffles that are Ahhmazing! Her friend made them for a bake sale and had a million left over, so my grandmom has a fridge full of these. Thank goodness she only gave me a small baggie because I could eat them all! These cute little things are so rich and some of the best chocolates I have tasted in a loooong time.Off to settle in for some TV time. Good night everyone!

  13. First visit, and comment - great blog! I was prompted to stop by as a result of your comment on d10's blog about your kitten attacking your feet at night. That's awesome! I think you should set up a camera to capture this for posterity.
